The Maintenance Department consists of two divisions and works to provide the people of Houston County with a safe, clean and pleasant environment to conduct their business always striving to ensure the County's property investments preserve their highest value.

Maintenance Personnel maintain approximately 500,000 square feet at 19 various locations through out Houston County.  Even providing 24-hour emergency services.

Maintenance Staff include; the Building Maintenance Supervisor and two Building Maintenance Workers.  Our HVAC/Electrical Technician cares for approximately 1500 tons of air conditioning units, five chillers and five boilers.  Our Construction Foreman oversees and performs special projects for the Commission including remodeling and renovation projects under $50,000.00

Janitorial Responsibilities including the daily upkeep and cleanliness of over sixty restrooms and approximately 150,000 square feet of floor coverings.

All custodial services are performed by, our four Housekeepers and three Custodians.
