The Houston County Commission will be offering for lease 50 3/10 acres of cultivatable farm land located behind the County Industrial Park off State Line Road (County Road 55). The lease period will be from January 1, 2017 until December 31, 2017. The lease shall be solely for row crop purposes and not otherwise. Prospective tenants must maintain comprehensive general liability and property damage insurance in the amount of not less than $500,000 combined single limit coverage for bodily injury, and property damage, including vehicle accident insurance in such coverage amounts. Tenant must provide the Houston County Commission with a copy of said insurance policy. The tenant will not be allowed to assign or in any manner transfer this lease to anyone else.
